Fats, Oils and Grease Control

Fats, Oil and Grease (FOG) control and compliance has become one of the most serious national environmental concerns. FOG has been nationally identified as the cause that contributes to a vast majority of sanitary sewer overflows. Honolulu has incorporated a technically based grease interceptor sizing criteria that results in much more reasonably sized grease interceptors (than UPC or other typical sizing criteria) which is more appealing to the businesses that must fund the installation.
